Well, That Was Unexpected

Real life is stranger than fiction...depending on which authors you read, of course.

go ahead and drill, we'll be dead anyway!

your trivia fact for the day is that Laser stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. and in ye olde military, PMS stands for Planned Maintenance System--which sort of jives with the purpose of the menstrual cycle..sort of ish. i pity people who learn nothing at work.

people i don't understand: those who are proud of not being environmentalists. i don't get it. this is not political. there is nothing political about conservation. it's a moral imperative. i mean, maybe you can admit you're a lazoid circus monkey who doesnt put much effort into it. maybe, in order to not sound like a hypocrite, you don't pipe up and sound impassioned about saving the planet when people are talking about conservation. but, my Lord, you don't go around being proud of being a wasteful glutton, oil guzzling and drilling, electricity consuming, littering, non-recycler, advocating emissions of poisonous gases and whatnot. do you know who i'm talking about? texans. (sorry, shans.) in math they say that if a=b and b=c then a=c and i then say that people i don't understand=texans.

I think i can confidently say that there is no movie in the world I would rather see less than the upcoming release Unaccompanied Minors. i actually threw up a little in my mouth just as soon as the name of it popped in my head.

Oh come on! "Unaccompianed Minors" looks like "Cheaper By The Dozen" meets "Home Alone"! What could a movie lover ask for?? ha!! (insert sarcasm here!!) :) Oh, just had a memory of our times at Warner Village Theaters...dang I miss the joy of getting to the top of the escalator and seeing the posters of upcoming shows and deciding right then and there what was worthy of our NT!!! oh wait..pretty much any English speaking movie was worth MY NT! ha!

Happy Movie Going!!

Scary fun fact- I actually knew that- but towards the end of my Army days, we adopted PMCS(Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services).

Oh, I also humbely(sp?) nominate my drive into work as being totally beautiful- Route 99N along the Sound. Freakin awesome when the sun is setting behind the Olympics and the bay is a bright blue(I have never seen cleaner water in a busy port). But, 163 through the park is pretty cool too, its like driving at high speeds through a park! Look out mimes, I'm late!

Are you sure there's no movie you'd rather see less?....How about Van Wilder 2? Last night one of our clients invited several of us to the premiere party. Possibly could have been more entertaining than the actual movie itself (wouldn't have been hard). Why is this movie necessary? Who actually pays money to see this? Apparently the same people who will dish out to see Unaccompanied Minors.

I was almost really offended. But then you made an exception for me, so it was OK.

And I, too, am horrified that anyone ever green-lighted "Unaccompanied Minors."--Shans
